Blackberry jelly

Pick some blackberries!
Only took me 30 min to pick a kilo today. They are great this year with all the sun and dry weather. Here's the recipe I made up:
1kg blackberries
800 g jam sugar
50ml water
10 lemon verbena leaves
2 tbls lemon juice

Put it all in a pan and wait for the sugar to dissolve. Will take a while so be patient. I just left mine to stand for an hour. Bring to boil and boil heavily for 3 min. Take off heat and let to cool slightly. Put through muslin and bottle up the jam.
